Apple Crisp Recipe

It is March Maple Madness time!! What better way to bring on the maple-ness than to recreate one of my previous recipes Apple Crisp with some Maple Oats! Ingredients: Serves 6 5-7 small apples This time I only had 4 apples but this just means more topping per apple! (No complaints here!) 2 packets of Bakery On Main Maple Instant Oatmeal (for those of you looking for a low sugar option, use our Traditional unsweetened oatmeal instead) 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Organic Brown Sugar (If you want you can use 1/3 cup or substitute it with a tbsp of maple syrup!)
  • 1 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter ( I used Earth Balance non-dairy spread)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degree C)
  2. Place the sliced apples in a large baking pan. Pour small amount of water in pan.
