Happy Apple Crisp

How can you make apple crisp better?... By making it with Organic Happy Granola and Organic Happy Oats! This gluten-free upgrade on a classic favorite recipe has a delicious taste and texture that brings you the warm and comforting feeling you’ve always enjoyed from this timeless dessert.
Ingredients
- 5 large apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/4 cup cashew milk
- 2 Tbs lemon juice
- 2 Tbs pure maple syrup
- 1 Tbs of coconut sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- ½ C almond flour
- ¼ C coconut flour
- ¼ C crushed walnuts (optional)
- 1 Tbs coconut sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 Tbs melted coconut oil
- Pinch of Himalayan pink salt
- ½ C Organic Happy Rolled Oats
- ½ C Organic Sprouted Maple Quinoa Happy Granola
- Preheat oven to 375-degrees F and grease an 8" x 8" baking dish
- In a medium bowl, combine apples with cashew milk, lemon juice, maple syrup, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and allspice
- In a separate bowl, add all the ingredients for the Crumble Topping and gently mix with your hands. You want the mixture to be consistent but crumbly. Add a small amount more of coconut oil if it seems too dry
- Pour the apple mixture into the prepared dish
- Using your hands, evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples
- Bake for 25 minutes or until apples are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork
