Pass the Apple Crisp please!

It's that time of year in New England...apple and pumpkin flavored everything! This past Sunday at the wonderful Coventry Farmers' Market I sampled the first batch of Apple Cider from the local, Farmer's Cow. One word- Delicious. Of course I went to the store later and had to buy some, but it did not curb my craving for that wonderful apple taste of autumn in Connecticut. So... I decided to whip up some Apple Crisp with BOM's apple pie oatmeal.
I tried my best to stick to a recipe so I could share with all of you! Here ya go! 5-7 small apples ( I left the skin on!) 2 packets of BOM instant oatmeal 1/2 cup of Organic Brown Sugar 1 tsp of Cinnamon 1 tsp of Nutmeg 1/2 cup of melted butter ( I used Earth Balance non-dairy spread)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degree C).
- Place the sliced apples in a large baking pan. Pour small amount of water in pan.
- Combine the oatmeal, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and melted butter together. Crumble evenly over the apple mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 45 minutes
